This is by far the best course I have seen on the use of CPR and AED. The first aid section is also top notch. The thin textbooks are condensed, yet digestable.
Duration: This course has a textbook, which can be studied at home before the course. The course itself can be done in a 2 or 3 hour evening, often on a dive weekend.

Course Summary: This is PADI very successful version of First AID/CPR. At Discovery Divers Tokyo, we have invested in an Automatic External Defibrillation (AED) trainer, and infant as well as adult mannequins so you can have the broadest range of training, obtain the highest level of the EFR card, and be most prepared for any situation that might arise. This course is designed to create the confidence to act.
Duration: This course has a video and textbook, which can be studied and viewed at home before the course. The course itself can be done in a 2 or 3 hour evening, often on a dive weekend.

Course Summary: I believe that this course represents the ultimate in rescue preparedness. In the unlikely event of a serious diving emergency, there is no tool as powerful as oxygen to increase the survivability of any accident. In this course, participants will learn in-depth information about DCI and other serious dive injuries and their treatment.
All participants will get to use the oxygen equipment in a simulated emergency, so they can be ready for any situation.
Duration: One evening.
