Oxycheq makes some of the finest buoyancy wings in the dive industry in terms of design, construction and value. They offer a lot of wings, so let me sort things out here a bit.
Construction
The wings are divided into those that have single wall construction (Razor Wings) and those that have an interior bladder wrapped in a tough cordura shell (Signature Series, Vertex and Mach 5).
The benefit of single wall wings is that they are light and easy to pack, while the primary advantage of interior bladder wings is their toughness. This added resistance to puncture and abrasion of the interior bladder design makes these wings more costly, but in my opinion are worth the extra expense since they are not that much bulkier for packing.
Intended Use
Wings are generally divided into two use designs: for single tank use or double tank use. There is some debate on this issue, but most experienced divers agree that wings designed for single tank use should not be used for double tanks and vice versa.
Single Tank Wings
All single tank wings designed by Oxycheq are shaped like a “donut”. The current wing offerings by Oxycheq for single tank use are as follows:
Single wall construction:

Interior bladder construction:

- Mach V 32 pound (New, highly streamlined wing)

Double Tank Wings
Industry-wide, double tank wings are in transition at the moment. Traditionally, double tank wings have been in a horseshoe shape. Recently, doubles wings have made the move to a donut design for ease of air venting, especially at the end of a dive with only small amounts of air left remaining in the wing.
